One Piece Film: Red Episode 1

After joining the Marines, Koby and Helmeppo started out as Marine chore boys at the 153rd Branch in Shells Town.[29] The two were later tasked with chore duty on a ship transferring the prisoner Morgan. As Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp was taking Morgan into his custody, Morgan caught Garp off-guard and slashed him before taking Helmeppo hostage.[30] Morgan fled on a small boat with his hostage and the Marines prepared to fire on the small vessel. However, Koby, not willing to let them kill his friend, scared them away with a gun. Bogard sliced Koby's guns into pieces, but Garp stepped in before the two could continue fighting. Though Morgan escaped,[31] the bravery shown by the two earned them the attention of Garp, who took the two under his wing as pupils.[32] Koby and Helmeppo accompanied the vice admiral to Marineford to train under him.[33]

One Piece Film: Red is the 15th One Piece movie that fans seem to be excited for. Announced during the celebration of One Piece's 1000th episode, One Piece Film: Red is currently in production. 2022 seemed to be the year for another One Piece movie for several reasons. Looking back at the release of the previous One Piece movies, there is certainly a pattern there. One Piece Film: Strong World came out in 2009, which was followed by One Piece Film: Z in 2012, just three years after. Four years later, One Piece Film: Gold was released in 2016, and One Piece: Stampede was eventually out in 2019, just three years later.

The main plot of One Piece Film: Red hasn't been revealed fully yet, however, the short teaser that the fans got during its announcement gave out enough information for fans to piece things together. As seen often in One Piece movies, it seems that the Straw Hat Pirates will be heading to an event. This time, the destination appears to be a music festival. Upon working with the Film Red team, Eiichiro Oda highlighted that he wanted a female character to play a crucial role in the movie, and this individual is one with fiery red hair and quite possibly a resident of a Sky Island. She's also a singer by the looks of it as the key visual describes her voice to be "almighty."

Looking at Oda's involvement in a One Piece movie being bigger than ever, it's no surprise that fans are wondering whether Film Red is canon or not. To put it simply, One Piece Film: Red isn't canon. Eiichiro Oda prefers to handle the main story in his manga at the moment, meaning the movie are just there for the enjoyment of the fans without connections to the main storyline. However, that's not to say that Film Red won't have bits and pieces of important scenes from the One Piece canon.

According to a recent announcement from Toei, the 1,014th episode of One Piece is ready to leave port and will premiere on April 17, 2022. The episode will be the first new episode of the series for the anime in six weeks, as Toei looked into what exactly caused the hack, and reevaluated how they should move forward with other productions.

Since the hack, One Piece has been drydocked with reruns and recaps of various arcs, but is ready to return with brand new episodes. With One Piece ready to set sail, the anime can now continue to be one of the most popular series on television and also look ahead to the launch of its next highly anticipated film: the mysterious One Piece Film: Red.

One Piece is an ongoing anime series that started in 1999. So far 1057 episodes of One Piece have been aired. With a total of 95 reported filler episodes, One Piece has a very low filler percentage of 9%.

Unlike most TV anime, Chainsaw Man had a whopping 12 ending theme songs - yes, a completely different one for each episode. From high-pitched J-pop to headbang-worthy heavy metal, the show pulled in a diverse group of artists who expressed Denji's chaotic and horrific world in their own way.

Originating with the manga and turned into the popular anime, the series has been going on since 1999, with an episode almost every week since then. Outside of a few breaks in between, the series is heading toward its endgame as the pirates continue their quest to find One Piece. The creator said the ending would happen in five years in 2020, so depending if the production can continue at its pace, it should end in three years.

One Piece, a ridiculously popular manga by Eiichiro Oda, has also been adapted into an anime, movies, image songs, and so on; THE most popular manga in Japan known for its universal appeal with stories of entire families reading it. Among the most popular manga ever created and busting multiple sales records and with over 345 million volumes in circulation worldwide, over 1000 chapters have been published since the series' beginning in 1997, and the anime adaptation, which started in 1999, is reaching 900 episodes and counting.

  • Crossover and Specials One Piece: Defeat Him! The Pirate Ganzack: An OVA special made in 1998, the first official anime of the series produced by Production I.G.

  • Cross Epoch: A manga crossover with Dragon Ball.

  • One Piece Chapter 0 Strong World: A special manga chapter that acts as a prequel to both Strong World and the series as a whole. An animated adaptation was also produced. It shows Shiki's history with Roger.

  • Dream 9: Super Collaboration Special!!: Part of a three-way crossover with Dragon Ball and Toriko.

  • Also has cross done three more crossovers with Toriko. A manga special and two anime episodes.

  • 3D2Y: A special that takes place during the time skip and follows Luffy and Boa Hancock rescuing Hancock's sisters from a pirate called World. One of the few specials to receive a dub.

  • Adventure of Nebulandia: A post-Time Skip special that involves Luffy and crew teaming up with the Foxy Pirates to take on a clever and dangerous Marine Vice Admiral who seeks to capture the Straw Hats. One of the few specials to receive a dub.

  • Heart of Gold: A tie-in special to the Film: Gold movie. The Straw Hats come across a girl who can lead them to the Pure Gold, gold more valuable and rarer then the common material. But must contend against an ruthless bounty hunter in the process. One of the few specials to receive a dub.

  • One Piece: Episode Of...: One Piece specials that are usually condensed retelling of their main arcs.

Unlike many other shonen series, One Piece does a fantastic job of avoiding pointless filler episodes. However, on rare occasions, it falls victim to the same shortcomings that plague similar titles within the genre. With this in mind, there are more than a few filler arcs which even the most diehard fans would be wise to avoid.

Updated on December 20, 2022 by Kennedy King: With One Piece moving into what has been confirmed to be its final saga, there are more eyes than ever on the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. Although filler episodes have become less prevalent as the series has continued, that doesn't mean they haven't continued to pop up throughout One Piece post-timeskip. Because of this, even the most veteran fans of the franchise should be on the lookout for new, non-canon material. 041b061a72
